The governing boards of the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach unanimously approved the 2017 Clean Air Action Plan (CAAP) Update , ushering in a new era of aggressive clean air strategies for moving cargo through the nation’s busiest container port complex. The ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach released the draft of their proposed 2017 C lean Air Action Plan (CAAP) Update. A preliminary analysis estimates the cost of implementing the 2017 CAAP at $7 billion to $14 billion. A roadmap for conducting feasibility assessments is among the supporting documents.
