While the selection of hybrid models in the US has more than doubled since 2007, only 35% of hybrid vehicle owners choose to purchase a hybrid again when returning to market in 2011, according to recent analysis by Polk. Hybrid loyalty rates in the top 15 markets in which a minimum of 500 hybrid owners returned to market in 2011.

The $99, full-refundable reservation process is a first step in securing a place on the list to purchase or lease a Nissan LEAF. The Nissan LEAF begins rolling out to select markets in December, and will be widely available in 2011. After placing a reservation, a customer will be able to indicate a preferred dealer.
