South Africa vehicle maker Optimal Energy will exhibit a functional prototype of its Joule full battery-electric multi-purpose urban passenger vehicle ( earlier post ) at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Joule will be completely highway capable with a top speed limited to 135 km/h (84 mph).

South Africa-based Optimal Energy has taken delivery of four of its Joule EVs ( earlier post ) for use as a marketing fleet. Each vehicle will cover approximately 100,000 km (62,000 miles) on public roads and the feedback that is received from testing will be implemented to further improve on this model.
