While not fast by EV standards, it will get the job done for entering freeways, which is what the e:FCEV will be doing a lot of as it will only be leased in California when it hits dealers in July. Safety All CR-V (gasoline, hybrid and e:FCEV) models come standard with active and passive safety features such as front and side air bags.

Kenworth Truck Company and Peterbilt Motor Company will expanding their alternative fuel line-up by offering the Cummins Westport ISX12 G heavy duty natural gas engine ( earlier post ) for use in regional haul, vocational and refuse markets. Peterbilt uses the ISL G and Westport GX engine. Next-generation Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks.

Toyota (in partnership with Peterbilt and others), Hyundai and Nikola are the early leaders in hydrogen being a fuel source for over-the-road trucks, highlighted by what they are doing at the Port of Long Beach and elsewhere in California. A maintenance-free car for about $21,000 sounds pretty enticing.

Addressing costly and time-consuming maintenance requirements was taken into account when designing Endurant to further deliver in a key area amongst customers. Endurant will be paired with the Cummins X15 Efficiency Series engine beginning in October for Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks.
