Since traffic is really light on Sunday morning, I drove to work (15 miles away) and back to see how the 914 would handle. If my ammeter from West Marine is correct, then just cruising takes about 50 amps and every time I accelerate even slightly, the current goes up over 200 amps.

Our Marin County Mach-E GT and GT Performance test drives took us from Sausalito to Olema, then along the coastal mountains to the quaint town of Stinson Beach. This route was an excellent showcase as it had city streets with traffic lights, wide open country roads, and several miles on the iconic California 101 at 70 miles per hour.
