SDG&E and Juice Technologies presented a prototype of the Juice Technologies Plug Smart intelligent charging device at the Plug-In 2009 Conference in Long Beach, CA.

An EV like this would need to store 6KWHrs of power in the batteries if we assume the system is 100% efficient. A visit to the gas station takes minutes not seconds and so the California Air Resource board, when it established fast charging standards, set the goal of charging the batteries to 80% in 10 minutes.

Step away from them screens for a few hours and get your creative juices flowing! Upcycling existing resources means that we don’t have to use any new raw materials in the production process. Either way, it’s a great solution to offset reliance on mains supply with renewable resources. Upcycle and recycling projects.

Several early models of passenger vehicles have enough energy stored in advanced batteries to power several homes for hours. Does it, in essence, come down to the fact that V2G takes advantage of battery storage that would exist anyway , as opposed to requiring batteries specifically for the purpose of storing night-time electricity?
