A month or so ago word was Toyota was postponing the new generation Lithium Prius. That seemed to be a hint that Toyota wasn't moving too quickly on plug-ins. Now, however, we continue to see more information on Toyota's own prototype plug-in Lithium Prius.

GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. If the EV1 was viable (or even close) we would see Ford, Toyota, Honda, etc all with 80 mile cars right now.do In the meantime, Toyota and Honda will eat their lunch while GM pushes both E85 and pure electric. you see that?
