FHI), the maker of Subaru automobiles, launched its Subaru Plug-in STELLA electric vehicle (EV). The model will be sold in Japan directly through FHI, with delivery starting from late July. A 9 kWh, 346V Li-ion battery pack comprising 16 modules in series supports a range of 90 km (56 miles) when driven in the Japan 10-15 mode cycle.

At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. They even had a real plug connected to their toy car on the exhibit hall. It’s in fleet lease use in Japan already and I have confidence they’ll be producing them and selling them to actual people.
