Most of the vehicles debuting at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show were powered by some sort of electricity. We reviewed the last year of this small but fun EV, noting its limitations, not the least of which was an 84-mile driving range. 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 EV. seconds to 60 miles per hour, and a 410-mile driving range.

Current trends suggest that barriers to EV adoption such as price, range, selection and charging-time will continue to diminish, as costs come down and technology improves. Performance: Battery range has been increasing annually. In 2017, Tesla Model S had the farthest EPA-rated range for an all-electric vehicle, at 315 miles.

Case-in-point is the all-new GV60 EV, which followed its cousins, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 (2020), and the Kia EV6 ( 2021). It is important to note that cold weather can affect the charging time and driving range. The all-electric driving range is affected by driving style, the drive mode and the horsepower between the two models.
