Hyundai is initially offering the Tucson Fuel Cell to customers in the Los Angeles/Orange County region for a 36-month term at $499 per month, with $2,999 down. Hyundai’s position on fuel cell vehicles is that they alleviate the limitations of traditional battery-electric vehicles with respect to range and refueling (recharging) time.

The MINI E will give its world premiere at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19 and 20, 2008. Wallboxes fully recharge batteries after a mere two-and-a-half hours.

With the coming solar feed-in tariff legislation moving through Sacramento that will pay us for the extra solar energy we produce and feed back into the grid. If Los Angeles County were a nation, its economy would be the 18th largest in the world. County the national leader in solar energy it has the power to make that happen.
