US-based Raven SR to build waste-to-hydrogen project in Spain

Raven SR, a US-based renewable fuels company ( earlier post ), plans to build a waste-to-hydrogen production facility in Aragón, Spain, following the opening of its subsidiary Raven SR Iberia in Zaragoza, announced earlier this month. Raven SR plans to bring the modular project online in 2023.

Repsol and Talgo to develop hydrogen-powered trains

Spain-based global energy company Repsol and Talgo, a manufacturer of intercity, standard, and high speed passenger trains, will promote a renewable-hydrogen-powered train, fostering emission-free rail transport in the Iberian Peninsula. The Vittal One renewable hydrogen-powered train uses electric motors powered by hydrogen fuel cells.
