I think that’s fair since on a good day my 3 ½-year-old Chevrolet Volt has a 61-mile all-electric range, roughly comparable to a used Nissan Leaf or Fiat 500e. Sales just topped a quarter-million with Tesla’s four models accounting for more than half of the overall sales. Would I have bought my Volt without the rebate?
