Between 2009 and 2015, the legislation more than doubled the fuel efficiency of the fleet of 13,500 yellow taxis, leading to estimated declines in air pollution emissions. The scientists report that overall fuel efficiency of the medallion taxi fleet climbed from 15.7 exhaust emissions declined by 82% and 49%, respectively.

The EPA estimates fuel economy to be 13 mpg city/20 highway/16 combined running on 91 octane. The Maserati Ghibli Trofeo drew stares, which is saying something in car-crazy Southern California, where every exotic is roaming free on the highways and can be found tucked away behind gates in tony neighborhoods.
