With an announced on sale date of spring 2023, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV is slowly getting attention from full-size pickup owners. Clean Fleet Report wanted to give an update as we are one year out from seeing the Silverado EV in Chevrolet dealerships. This review highlights the status of the Silverado EV as of May 2022.

The 2010 Silverado Hybrid is a full-size, fully-capable, V8-powered two-mode hybrid truck that delivers up to a 40% improvement in city cycle fuel economy. The program expanded the number of alternative energy vehicles in their fleet—one part of a multi-pronged approach.

When combined with the greater MPG achieved running the gasoline engine to support the electric motor, VTRUX models achieved a total mileage range similar to the standard gasoline versions.& VIA was focused on fleet sales and a low cost of ownership.
