XL Hybrids announced its XL3 Hybrid Electric Drive System will be installed in 52 vehicles that serve five Massachusetts state agency fleets. The upgrades were made possible by support from the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC).

Lightning Hybrids ( earlier post ) and National Fleet Hybrids have entered a partnership to sell, install and distribute Lightning’s medium-duty hydraulic hybrid retrofit systems. This partnership will provide access to the hydraulic hybrid drive system to fleets in New England and the Mid-Atlantic.
