The LT1 camshaft design is based on the LS3’s cam tuning (14mm gross intake lift) and offers 62 crank degrees of cam phasing authority. The LT1 head features smaller combustion chambers designed to complement the volume of the unique topography of the pistons’ heads. The deep-skirt design helps maximize strength and minimize vibration.
