Every so often we like to feature older electric cars, as well as those you can buy new from the dealer. That means scouring eBay for items of interest, and it's often surprising to see what vehicles people have stored away. This time, we've found three 1976 CitiCar electric vehicles for sale.

The team at the Chambal Motors, the Tata Motors Udaipur dealer was quite helpful. We had to run a diagnostic tool after connecting a Panasonic laptop provided by Tata Motors to the dealer. You access the car’s network through a port located below the steering wheel area of the dashboard. No screwdriver required.

These numbers above exclude all the existing hybrid electric and other alternative fuel models available or in the works, which number at least another 265 models. As a comparison , in 2011, there were only two battery electric and 29 hybrid electric vehicle models offered for sale in the US.
