Tritium Partners with Loop EV Charging Network to Expand DC Fast Charging Infrastructure. Tritium, a global leader in direct current (DC) fast charging hardware and software, has announced that it has collaborated agreement with EV charging network operator Loop. Tritium selected US Army Power Transfer Cohort to shift to EVs.

Chevrolet dealerships in the initial launch markets of California, Connecticut, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia and Washington, DC will be receiving dedicated Volt demonstration vehicles for customer test drives over the next few weeks.

Chevrolet Volts have been delivered to customers in the Washington DC area, as well as California, New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Texas. Customers nationwide will be able to order Volts with participating dealers beginning in the second quarter. The Volt is clearly bringing new customers to Chevrolet.

Participating Chevrolet dealers in seven key launch markets across Canada have begun taking orders for the all-new 2012 Chevrolet Volt, with an MSRP starting at C$41,545 (US$43,568). Almost nine of 10 customers who traded in a vehicle as part of their purchase are new to the Chevrolet brand.

Coupled with already low dealer inventories and strong demand, the suspension of production, will result in limited availability and reduced sales in June and July.
