A bill under consideration in the California state legislature would require California’s Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) to include Class III (280 cc or greater) model-year 2000 and newer motorcycles in the state’s smog check program beginning 1 January 2012. The standards include corporate averaging provisions.

Voucher amounts increase for the purchase of cargo or adaptive e-bikes. Another two-wheeled option for a different type of travel: zero-emission motorcycles. Another plus: no tailpipe pollution.

The electric motorcycle scene has disappointed. For example, there is no news from Tork motorcycles. These policies are well rounded and offer financial Incentives for purchasing an EV. Also the pollution vehicle industry, is dependent on China for critical engine, alloys, plastics and transmission components.

Nor am I, a corporate slave earning huge money, climbing the corporate ladder. No one wants air pollution in our cities. They will drag their feet for next few years trying to shove their garbage pollution scooters and motorcycles down our throats, while selling compliance EV's in a limited fashion.

The prototype vehicle, called Project PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility), is designed to ease congestion and pollution problems in cities.
