With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road. According to the Department for Business, the average cost for standard electricity in the UK in 2020 was 17.2p/kWh.

Even before I could get into the walkway which connects the bus stations, I found a bus going to Hosur via Electronic City. The charging port standard is also something that they can relook at. Go to petrol pump owners and find out who are people who are big time consumers. The ticket was a reasonable Rs. 5,000 upwards.
