Pocket change, really (although, an early tricked-out “Founder’s Fleet” model with all the options and extras included will cost $322k). We didn’t get to test out any connectivity/app features, but remote management of charging, checking the cameras on the boat, and so on, seem like natural features that will come down the pipe.

This 160-mile drive spotlighted the handling, driving characteristics and performance. In our mixed driving, which had significant motor regeneration due to mountain elevation and tight curves, we averaged 4 miles per kilowatt-hour (kWh). Brief Summary: the Air Touring is an exceptional all-electric luxury sedan.

Clean Fleet Report was invited to Toyota’s U.S. At low speeds (under 18 miles per hour) the Sequoia hybrid can roll along in electric-only mode, but quickly adds the gasoline engine when you step on the accelerator, returning to EV mode when you lift off the pedal. EVgo’s US network of DC fast chargers provided 40 million miles of electric driving in 2017; in 2016, the figure was 22 million EV miles.
