Washington selects AeroVironment to install fast-charger network along I5 and US2

The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has selected AeroVironment to manufacture, supply, install and operate a network of nine fast-charging stations for electric vehicles along Interstate 5 and US 2. Combined, the two projects will connect Washington drivers along the entire 276 miles of I-5 between Canada and Oregon.

Germany awards €233K to N-ERGIE to support 84 charging points in Bavaria; part of €300M federal program

Private investors, cities and municipalities can apply for funding under the program. The subsidy is pro rata and covers not only the installation of the charging column but also the grid connection. The BMVI will provide a total of €300 million (US$352 million) to that end from 2017 to 2020.
