General Motors has begun deliveries of its first next-generation electric vehicles, the GMC HUMMER EV Edition 1 Pickup and BrightDrop EV600 light commercial vehicle, both built on the Ultium Platform. BrightDrop is now delivering its first EV600s to FedEx, moving from concept to market introduction faster than any other GM vehicle in history.

Five years after first establishing a strategic cooperation, Daimler and the Renault-Nissan Alliance have expanded their collaboration with the start of a manufacturing joint venture in Aguascalientes in central Mexico. The new business entity COMPAS (Cooperation Manufacturing Plant Aguascalientes) is 50:50 owned by Daimler and Nissan.
