Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation (Toshiba ESS) announced that its hydrogen-based autonomous energy supply system H2One, which Toshiba ESS delivered and installed on the rooftop of Toranomon Hills Business Tower (Minato-ku, Tokyo), has started full-scale operation with the opening of commercial facilities.

Hydrogen electrical power storage capacity is 350 kWh. Hydrogen storage capacity increases by about a maximum of 20%, depending on the weather.).

Bicycle parking lot in Sakurashinmachi, Setagaya, where Sanyo’s Smart Energy System “Solar Parking Lot” is installed. Sanyo Electric has completed installation of two Solar Parking Lots for hybrid bikes, incorporating solar panels and lithium-ion battery systems, and also provided 100 electric hybrid “eneloop bikes”, in Setagaya, Tokyo Japan.

Sharp Corporation has developed an Intelligent Power Conditioner that enables batteries in electric vehicles to be used as storage batteries for the home. Sharp will be conducting tests to confirm the safety and reliability of this system, with the aim of making this device commercially available in the near future.
