In March 2020 we installed 9 solar panels an inverter and 2 battery packs. The inverter converts the DC solar into AC power that can power the house or be directed back into the Grid as well as connecting up the Battery packs that uses 48 Volt DC. . Some housekeeping The 7kW slow charger hasn’t been installed in my society due to some complications that maybe covered in a separate post. I have been on exactly one ICE (dinasour juice* consuming Internal Combustion Engine vehicles) roadtrip prior to this. Gotta love the free and the fast juice at MG’s Fortum Chargers.

That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. Having centralized energy production in that way allows for centralized pollution control measures, filters, so-called "clean coal" rather than depending on X number of cars, manufacturers, and consumers to deal with pollution control.
