Partners of the P2X Kopernikus project on the premises of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany have demonstrated the production of fuel from air-captured CO2 using—for the first time—a container-based test facility integrating all four chemical process steps needed to implement a continuous process.

With two Electric cars, at the time a Nissan Lean and Mitsubishi Outlander, we use a considerable amount of electricity but not much petrol, so already we were a reasonable way down the less CO2 road. In March 2020 we installed 9 solar panels an inverter and 2 battery packs. Tons of CO2. . Power is watts. Energy is watt-hours.

CO2 from cars does not contribute to smog and is not harmful to human health but it is one of the leading contributors to global warming. As a result, the plug-ins burn much less fuel, thereby significantly reducing CO2 emissions. The conversion can double or even triple fuel economy, thereby severely limiting carbon dioxide emissions.

The small electric will be king and batteries a valuable commodity, so valuable in fact, they will have to be wielded in to prevent theft by the Solar, Wind, Wave, Tidal, folks for their home installations!

Newly installed CEO Fritz Henderson argues that pioneering projects like the Volt typically lose money until the technology catches on. If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. The intolerable act is to pretend that making cars into plug-ins will reduce CO2.
