In our mixed driving, which had significant motor regeneration due to mountain elevation and tight curves, we averaged 4 miles per kilowatt-hour (kWh). This story is the 2,000 th one posted on Clean Fleet Report (as a point of reference we hit story #1,000 on Feb. liter gas engine (28 mpg highway) for a run in the snow up to Lake Tahoe. I followed that with a week in an Audi Q4 E-tron EV driving several hundred miles around town. The Sportback-style with incumbant technology.

Clean Fleet Report was invited to Toyota’s U.S. At low speeds (under 18 miles per hour) the Sequoia hybrid can roll along in electric-only mode, but quickly adds the gasoline engine when you step on the accelerator, returning to EV mode when you lift off the pedal. We didn’t get to test out any connectivity/app features, but remote management of charging, checking the cameras on the boat, and so on, seem like natural features that will come down the pipe. The Sport is also capable of 225kW CCS DC charging, for the few marinas that have installed DC fast chargers (there’s one in Tahoe ).

A PUMA runs on lithium ion batteries, can reach 35 miles per hour, and can travel up to 35 miles between charges. One of them is bringing out a nice looking 4-passenger electric with a 110 mile range. My Vespa scooter gets 100 miles to the gallon and can carry two people and two bags of groceries under the seat.
