The electric grid is the most advanced energy-distribution network ever created and is constantly only a few feet away from us (far more ubiquitous than gas/ethanol/hydrogen stations). As a civilization, we have committed ourselves to electricity and we must make cleaner electricity. Electric engines are emissions free (and quiet).

A 220 volt socket like on your water heater or dryer would be better, ad these typically have 40 or 50 amp circuits, so they can deliver 8,000 to 10,000 watts - is this what they mean? Once weve consolidated everything to depend on the grid, we can clean up everything by cleaning up the grid. Its a centralised solution.
