Earlier this week, New Jersey officials announced plans to ban the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035. The ban is New Jersey’s effort to improve the air quality in the state. The gas car ban is New Jersey’s first step toward zero-emissions vehicles.

Canada’s Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, and the Chair of the California Air Resources Board, Mary Nichols, today signed a new cooperation agreement to advance cleaner vehicles and fuels.
