CATL is now moving closer to locking in a plant in the United States, according to an exclusive report from Reuters , which said the Chinese battery maker is now vetting sites in South Carolina and Kentucky. CATL is now in talks to serve BMW AG and Ford Motor Company.

The Swedish automaker announced that the entry-level configuration of the Polestar 3 Long-Range Dual Motor Performance SUV will be available for $73,400 and includes the company’s Pilot Pack as a standard feature. The Long Range Dual Motor with Pilot Pack and Plus Pack is now starting at an MSRP of $78,900.
