The FedEx fleet of hybrid-electric vehicles has leapt by more than 50 per cent from 172 to 264 after the company added 92 hybrid-electric trucks to its delivery fleet by converting existing models. The vehicles are expected to go into service in California, and primarily across San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles.
