In our mixed driving, which had significant motor regeneration due to mountain elevation and tight curves, we averaged 4 miles per kilowatt-hour (kWh). The project will be the next step in CTDOT's zero emission bus deployment program with the goal to minimize the carbon emissions of Connecticut's bus fleet.

A PUMA runs on lithium ion batteries, can reach 35 miles per hour, and can travel up to 35 miles between charges. One of them is bringing out a nice looking 4-passenger electric with a 110 mile range. My Vespa scooter gets 100 miles to the gallon and can carry two people and two bags of groceries under the seat.
