All plug-in cars these days come with a 120-volt charge cord. This will actually be sufficient for many if not most Volt drivers, and quite a few LEAF drivers. An empty Volt pack will take 10 hours to fully recharge; an empty LEAF about 20 hours. They’ve kept my LEAF juiced, after all. And where are you going next?

As part of the solution framework, the Israeli government will provide tax incentives to customers, Renault will supply the electric vehicles, and Project Better Place will construct and operate an Electric Recharge Grid across the entire country. Please feel free to tell us what you believe to be the benefits of some of the various recharging modes mentioned above in the comments section below. Vancouvers trolley bus fleet operates at 600 volts and god knows how many amps. I would prefer to recharge at home, and could do so. It does not reflect well upon you.
