Walmart signed a definitive agreement with Canoo to purchase 4,500 all-electric delivery vehicles, beginning with the Lifestyle Delivery Vehicle (LDV), with the option to purchase up to 10,000 units. Canoo’s agreement with Walmart builds on the company’s existing commitments in the state of Arkansas.

General Motors and POSCO Chemical are working with the governments of Canada and Québec to build a new $400-million facility in Bécancour, Québec, to produce cathode active material (CAM) for GM’s Ultium batteries, which will power electric vehicles such as the Chevrolet Silverado EV, GMC HUMMER EV and Cadillac LYRIQ.

UPS plans to build an additional five compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling stations and add more than 700 new CNG vehicles including 400 semi-tractors and 330 terminal trucks.
