Looking at that on the local level, here in Los Angeles County, we’ve got 3,400,000 existing housing units for our 10 million people. County AB 811 program, and the home energy retrofits that are part of it, are going to bring jobs, more renewable energy, and a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions right home to where I live.

Ive found it facinating how car commercials changed the main MPG number they promoted before gas went over $4 a gallon as city miles. Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time. Denmark did that with Wind Power and now most of their energy comes from wind rather than oil, natural gas, or coal.
