GM is bringing back the Hummer brand as an EV within the GMC brand. Perhaps the first electric sub-brand was BMW’s i series, which included the i3 hatchback and i8 plug-in hybrid sports coupe. BMW’s electric i sub-brand started with the quirky i3. Rivian will be delivering all-electric pickups and SUVs very soon.
