By 2025, Volvo Cars aims for 50% of its global sales volume to consist of fully electric cars, with the rest hybrids. There is no long-term future for cars with an internal combustion engine. It will allow us to meet the expectations of our customers and be a part of the solution when it comes to fighting climate change.

Last week, 37 electric vehicle (EV) driver associations from 26 countries, including Plug In America, joined forces to create the Global EV Drivers’ Alliance, building a worldwide EV community. This goal is achievable; with more EVs hitting the market and EV technology is rapidly improving, the future of EVs is here.

Deutsche Post DHL Group is introducing a global DHL Green Carrier Certification to reward road transport subcontractors for their efforts to become more sustainable. As part of its sustainability roadmap, Deutsche Post DHL Group aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions to below 29 million tons by 2030 and net-zero by 2050.
