Sunverge Energy has selected International Battery to provide a Li-ion energy storage systems (ESS) as the energy storage component of Sunverge’s Solar Integration System (SIS). International Battery will provide Sunverge with an 8.2 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate battery pack for use in the residential SIS system.

Tennessee’s future oasis of DC fast charging and Waffle House comfort food is the only restaurant in Tennessee’s first round of NEVI awards and one of just two spots not doubling as a gas station or convenience store. The chargers they’re installing are made in South Carolina, and they exceed federal sourcing and kWh requirements.

Unfortunately there are still damn few J-plugs (the new standard for plug-in cars) publicly deployed, despite the expectations created by the federal grants to the EVProject (Ecotality) and ChargePoint America (Coulomb) and ex-Mayor Newsom here in San Francisco. A charge station appears at the grocery store you frequent.

The FCCC electric WIV also marks the first commercial vehicle application of a Tesla Motors Li-ion battery pack, which provide up to a 100-mile driving range on a single charge. Powered by Tesla Motors’ lithium-ion batteries, the chassis is 100% electric, including the HVAC system. FCCC is the first company within the industry to utilize Tesla batteries for commercial applications. The battery pack provides up to a 100-mile (161 km) driving range on a single charge.
