BYD and Uzavtosanoat JSC (UzAuto) signed an agreement to establish a joint venture company producing new energy vehicles (NEVs). UzAuto companies produce a range of vehicles from light passenger vehicles to heavy-duty trucks, buses, trailers and superstructures with an annual production volume of more than 350,000 vehicles per year.

Alpiq, EW Höfe and SOCAR Energy Switzerland are looking into the feasibility of installing an electrolysis facility with a capacity of up to 10 MW in Freienbach, Switzerland. The facility will thus set new standards in terms of overall efficiency and make an important contribution to Switzerland’s climate friendly energy supply.

The global geothermal industry surpassed 12,000 MW of geothermal power operational, with about 600 MW of new geothermal power coming online globally, according to a year-end update by the Geothermal Energy Association (GEA). Ormat Technologies, and AltaRock Energy. It was built by US Geothermal and TAS Energy.

Energy density of the pack is 140Wh/kg, benefitting range while keeping overall vehicle weight low. The car runs 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds (0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds) with a top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h). The battery in the SP:01 has been integrated into the chassis as a stressed member, adding stiffness to enhance handling and safety.
