Daimler and BlackRock-backed Greenlane announces plans to build 280 mile long “EV corridor” for commercial trucks running from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. More 200 kW DCFC charging options onsite will enable charging over slightly longer stops, with other options available for overnight and “hotel” charging for heavy-duty semi tractors.

This service is now available at more than 5,000 intersections in the US, for example in cities including Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Portland and Washington D.C.

Kia Corporation and Uber have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at this week’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, committing the two companies to collaborate on Kia’s planned development and deployment of PBVs. Kia had revealed five ‘Platform Beyond Vehicles’ (PBV) concepts at CES 2024 on January 9.
