Region 5 (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin) will accept applications requesting up to $3,000,000 in grant funds.

Its biomass-based diesel production suffered a market loss on almost 3.5 million gallons. Its ethanol production suffered a market loss on 98 million gallons.
