It’s been five years since my last silver all electric sports car, a GM EV1, was infamously destroyed. America’s first ground-up design pure electric sportscar since the EV1 arrives again. What sold me was knowing this was speed and a new era of clean domestically powered American automobiles. I am very very lucky!

Paine was one of the first to lease a General Motors EV1 in 1997 — only to get the car wrenched away from him five years later when he took it in simply to get a brake light fixed. Paine followed the plight of his EV1 to its (literally) crushing end. I never liked automobiles because I don’t like burning gasoline.

No one needs to buy another new gas powered car. Keep your old car, or buy an inexpensive used car. The Plug-Ins are coming and you should wait till they get here before buying your next new car. Otherwise you’ll just be buying a dinosaur that you’ll have to pay to convert or dispose of. Save your money.
