Unfortunately, car companies in India like Maruti, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Renault, Kia, and Volkswagen have not launched even a single electric car. This car takes large sums of money to run as well as expensive oil changes and engine maintenance.

I believe that all three barriers are very real for the auto industry but they are not true in any absolute sense. Putting steel out of business in the auto sector would be an attractive opportunity for an oil extractor! Sorry for such a long-winded non-answer!

Hydrogen cars will not be part of our future - at least in passenger cars. The entire auto industry has given up on investing in Hydrogen cars. They are Hyundai, Honda and you guessed it - Toyota. We have control over it, unlike oil production where we are dependent on foreign governments.
