The national companies have joined the global electric vehicles initiative EV100 which aims to make electric transport the new normal by 2030. Austrian Post is the largest logistics business in Austria.

The FLIRT Akku vehicles are designed to replace the current diesel fleet and will enable sustainable operation on lines that are only partially electrified.
