Sales of e-bikes in North America will grow by more than 50% in 2013 to more than 158,000 bikes, Pike forecasts. The concept of battery swapping “ will fade further into the rearview mirror in 2013 ,” Pike predicts. E-bikes surge. Globally, the e-bike market will grow by 10% to more than 33.6 million units during that year.
