Nissan Surf-Out concept Within last week’s 2030 plan presented by Nissan, emphasizing more affordable EVs , the automaker said that it will pair with Mitsubishi for the joint development of a Nissan Frontier pickup replacement in EV and PHEV forms. Now, GM reportedly seeks a similar deal with CATL.

Alfa Romeo Tonale – the Italian brand finally has a rechargeable car in its ranks in the form of the Tonale PHEV compact SUV. Aston Martin DBX PHEV and EV – electrified versions of AM’s first SUV on the cards. No surprises there are promises of big performance for a PHEV due late in 2022 or early 2023.

This marketing choice by Ford is either a very bad idea (brand dilution) or a genius plan to move the pony car into the modern era. A new old brand.
