These projects put more than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy-efficient light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on the road, and establish 542 refueling locations across the country. The winning project proposals (by award amount) are: Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, Georgia: $10,800,000. The project includes quick-charging stations at this terminal layover in route to recharge bus batteries. Includes replacement of lighting fixtures, control systems, and roof upgrades at selected facilities.
