Clean Fleet Report tested a XT5 Premium Luxury with the 3.6L Clean Fleet Report spent a week exploring Southern California in the front-wheel drive XT5 Premium Luxury, which the EPA rates at 19 mpg city/26 highway/21 combined mpg. We were surprised to cross the 30 mpg mark for this 3,915-pound, five-passenger midsize SUV.

When fully loaded or pulling a trailer, mileage numbers may be less, but getting oh-so-close to 30 mpg is impressive for a 6,015-pound SUV.
