More than 100 Blue Bird electric school buses have been ordered so far; Cummins electric drive

Blue Bird electric buses are already operating in California, North Dakota and Washington.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

Toyota to demo Prius Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles in New York City

NY to award $18.9M to increase number of electric buses in state

Other transit operators, including Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey have also purchased electric buses through the program.
