Mercedes-Benz is going all-electric starting in 2025, with plans to launch three electric-only architectures that year and install over 200 Gigawatt hours of battery cell capacity across eight factories. However, any newly launched architectures will be electric-only starting in 2025, the company said.

The all-new EQE SUV ( earlier post ) is the second fully-electric SUV from Mercedes-Benz based on the premium-class electric architecture (EVA2), following the EQS SUV. Similar to the EQS SUV, all models will be offered in Premium, Exclusive and Pinnacle Trims for the US market.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks will be presenting the series version of the previous eActros LongHaul on 10 October 2023, with a new design and the new name of eActros 600 as a world premiere. The designation 600 is derived from the battery capacity in kilowatt hours—as in the eActros 300/400 for distribution haulage.
